Something that I tell my clients and their families is this: if it comes down to you and another student with similar grades, scores and extracurriculars, it will come down to the person who can tell their story and who knows their “why”.

I do not take a cookie cutter approach with my clients. I work with each student to hone in on exactly what aspect of the admissions process they need to focus on. I will help students connect the dots. In our work together, students won't learn how to "pitch" or "perform", but rather to comfortably and confidently tell their own stories.

Hope Salas consulting is designed to provide clients the right amount of personal time and attention based on their individual needs. We are flexible, as well as efficient and effective in meeting your goals in a timely fashion. So, whether you're a sophomore, junior or senior who could benefit pre-coaching sessions to gain some perspective about the college application process, or a student who is to ready to write their essays and prepare for their interviews, or if you are a student who is a struggling writer who needs tutoring, there's a plan for you. No matter where students are in the process, they will need to commit time each week to maximize the benefits of this work. As hard as the student will be working, I will be working hard alongside them - reviewing and editing drafts, organizing mock interviews with professionals, and much more.

Sessions are (1) hour long, at the same time each week, and will be facilitated on Google Meet or ZOOM.
